If the allegations are correct, it is again a case of incredible cruelty for animals in Styria. Massively suffering pigs were reported to the association against animal factories in a southern styic fat manure. Now the State of the State is investigating.
The photos are shocking: countless injured pigs are in the middle of their peers. Many bays with pigs are crowded. It is so little space that the animals can hardly move. Open and fiddling wounds can be found on the joints of different brush hairs. Two pigs are completely unable to move, the others constantly rise to these animals because of the tightness. According to the law, injured animals must be treated and housed separately, which is clearly not the case in the South Styrian Company.
