On the late Saturday morning, a strange irritating gas sprayed in the miniature Wunderland in Hamburg. More than 40 people were injured, one person had to be treated in the hospital. The fire brigade had temporarily deleted the building.
About 1000 people had to leave the world’s largest model railway system. After about half an hour, the fire brigade, which had carried out ventilation measures, released the building again. So far it is unclear who had sprayed the irritating gas. A cartridge was found, a police spokesperson said.
The rescue reported 46 injuries, the police of 42 somewhat injured people who had suffered irritation from the airways. A person came to a nearby hospital. The other injuries could leave the medical service independently.

Use took two hours
The Hamburg police are still investigating the exact cause. A total of 60 forces from the Professional Fire Brigade and the Hamburg help services were used for two hours.
