Since 2012, an Innviertlerin has been fighting for her picturesque house. It is an heirloom on grassland. Despite many before, some of them for a redication and a positive decision by the city council, she must now have the Sacherl break down and also release around 40,000 euros.
Maria Reifeltshammer fought for almost 13 years before her Sacherl, built in the 18th century, in the Aurolzmünster district of Maierhof. Now the sad certainty is: the building must be demolished. “We have invested around 200,000 euros in the preservation in recent years, now we now have to pay another 40,000 for demolition,” says the Innviertler woman after a long roller coaster ride on the ground.
