For a year and a half, a 48-year-old at schools in Upper Austria, Lower Austria and Vienna would have given without a diploma. When he lost his wallet and landed by the police, the dizziness flew open. On Thursday he was sentenced to a conditional prison sentence at the Linz Regional Court.
For about 15 years, a 48-year-old from Steymr would have given in schools in Upper Austria, Lower Austria and Vienna. The problem: his diploma was fake. That is why on Thursday he had to answer for falsification of documents at the Linz Regional Court.
Open shortly before the status of limitations
In June 2010, De Steyer had the fake diploma of the Linz University of Education of the City School Council in Vienna for the first time. In 2017 and 2020 he reused the wrong document when changing Van Baan. In 2024, shortly before the five -year period was demolished, the whole thing was blown up because of an almost incredibly unhappy coincidence.
Police -ID gave an impulse
“I never needed my money persons, always paid for my cell phone,” said the common teacher. In the summer of 2024 he lost his wallet at a gas station. When it ended with the police, a police – ID – noticed – made bad, but still fake.
Caught up in contradictions
“When he was asked about his career, he became entangled in contradictions that the officers became aware of the list and asked the functions that the certificates have issued,” said the judiciary Ulrike Breiteder in the Run -up for negotiation. The police map procedure was stopped because it was only founded for a carnival party – it was just a glued ski pass.
Deception, as in the film
It all started when he met a woman who was a passionate educator. Assuming he had a diploma in his pocket – she has an internship. “It was as if you were fighting for something for years, and suddenly all doors go up automatically,” said the 48-year-old. So the deception went his course, which ended abruptly only 15 years later.
Studied almost completed
The fact that the dizziness did not notice faster is probably because the born Linz had actually completed seven semesters at the University of Education. “In this semester I should have repeated an internship because I missed German lessons in advance. I did not see that and instead concentrated on my last excellent exams,” said the fake teacher. Because the internships that were not completed were not sufficiently assessed, it was registered at the end of the semester.
In the end the judgment was clear: the judge did not give him a distraction, but sentenced the 48-year-old to three months in prison. The judgment is final.
