Use for three fire brigades on the B 115 at HEIFLAU (Styria): for the reason that was unknown so far, a truck, loaded with wooden trunks, fell in full heat. The adjacent forest was also in danger. Fortunately, nobody was injured.
On Thursday morning, 36 firefighters were called up for a spectacular commitment in HEIFLAU (Liezen District). When the first emergency services arrived, the truck and the wood strains were already in full fire. Via a stream that runs directly next to the street, you gave access to fire water.
Set on fire
Because of the strong wind that drove the flames to the adjacent forest, a burning dike also had to be extinguished. So you can successfully prevent the forest area from spreading. The Volunteer Brigades Eastenerz, Moerslandl and Radmer with six vehicles were deployed. The Red Cross and the police were also on the spot.
The driver was able to leave the vehicle on time and unharmed. The vehicle team was completely destroyed in the fire. The B 115 was closed for all the traffic during the duration of extinguishing and cleaning up from 10.50 am to 1:05 pm. A detour has been set up.
