Didi Bruckmayr has a PhD and is active in business circles – but he is also a punk rock singer who wears a special “suit”: his whole body is tattooed. He tells the “Krone” how he copes – and he gives tips to those who want a tattoo.
At the age of 19, Didi Bruckmayr had himself pierced with needles full of ink. With that, the 57-year-old fulfilled a childhood dream. “As a little boy I was already fascinated by tattoos,” says the man from Linz. It didn’t stop with a tattoo on the shoulder. Again and again he sat down on the chair and allowed himself to be petted.
“I had my first ‘suit’ when I was 40,” he says with a smile. From then on, his entire body was covered with artistic decorations like a “body suit”, only his face, hands and feet remained free.
