Video: Huge blue shark spotted off the coast of Corfus

Date:

Hai alarm off the coast of the popular Greek holiday island of Corfu! A huge blue shark circled around the inflatable boat from fishermen who shared a video of spectacular perception on Facebook.

The fishermen were surprised when a large blue shark suddenly circled her rubber boat during their journey to the sea. In the video, which was later published on the Facebook page of “Fishing in Greece”, you can see how the shark is approaching, swims by, turns around again and dives before it slides away.

“It’s very big!”
A rare face, even for the fishermen, as can be heard from the reactions in the video. “People, a shark for us, under the boat – it’s very big,” you hear a man say. “This is the first time I saw you so close.”

Here you can see the video of the blue shark that was seen off the coast of Corfus:

Even if shark observations in Greece are not commonplace, they are not excluded. Because so far more than 30 types of sharks have been proven in Greek waters.

Rarely
The Blauhai (Prionace Glauca) belongs to the Requiemhaie family (Carcharhinidae) and is widespread in tropical and moderate waters worldwide. It usually reaches a body height of approximately 3.40 meters, but can also be considerably larger in individual cases.

The blue shark is considered one of the potentially dangerous characters for people. There are reports about attacks, but because the habitat of the blue shark is usually not in the coastal areas, attacks on people are extremely rare.
