Susanne Posteiner knows exactly what she doesn’t want in her work: no time for people. She already had that, she no longer needs that. Now she works in the CS Socialis Day Hospice in Vienna, and she fully fulfills the activity in the palliative sector. Why and what exactly does this work bring? We asked.
Her work in the palliative area “gives me a great feeling of happiness, joy, satisfaction and meaning,” says Susanne Posteiner: “Yes, just every minute, every day here makes sense.” The 37-year-old has been a qualified health and nurse for 15 years. She once started at an oncological station: “I have noticed that it is very important to me to take the time for people who are seriously ill or whose life is limited and for their family members.”
