In Austria, 13,907 new corona infections have been reported in the past 24 hours (from 9:30 a.m. on Sunday). The last time it was less was on January 11 (11,516). 28 other people infected with the virus died in the current comparison period.
In the regular wards of the hospitals, the occupancy decreased by 33 places (2,830). The number of patients in intensive care decreased by one to 224 patients. At 9:30 a.m., a total of 3,054 people were hospitalized.
So far there are 3,887,355 positive test results in Austria. By 9:30 am on Sunday, 15,985 people across Austria who had contracted Covid-19 had died – 3,572,230 had recovered.
The new infections are distributed among the individual federal states as follows:

- Lower Austria: 2974
- Upper Austria: 2222
- Salzburg: 685
- Styria: 1461
- Tyrol: 651
- Vorarlberg: 664
