A bullet hole, a projectile and a dead Roebuck: the traces are clear – a syruper has been confused in Andorf. It is not the first case in the Innviertel, because only a pregnant Rehgeiß was killed illegally last week.
A farmer found the dead animal on Good Friday in the village of Linden in Andorf and informed the hunters. “We assume a targeted, illegal shooting,” says yacht director Johannes Gruber. Because a projectile can be guaranteed in the body of the approximately five -year -old Roebuck. The animal may have been killed between Tuesday and Thursday. Probably with a small caliber rifle, at least with a placed shot. The research is underway.
“A shooting by a hunter can be excluded because the Andorf hunters did not transfer shots in this area and at the time also have a blind game,” says De Hunters.
Police and hunters ask for instructions
Jagleiter Gruber says: “The Andorf hunter is in close contact with the police and observes the situation. We ask everyone who has noticed something unusual.” These are accepted by the police on 059 133 4271. It is not yet known who killed the animal.
Pregnant shot
It is the second poaching in the Innviertel within just a few days. Because five days before the discovery of the Dead Roebock in Andorf, a hunter in Burgkirchen became aware of the carcass of a pregnant, ie pregnant calfer. The animal was on a barley field, with two shots in the breast area. Here too, the murder weapon was perhaps a small caliber rifle – and here too the police are investigating poaching.
So far it has failed: “There is still no suspicion,” says Braunaus District Hunter Johann Priemaier about the case in Burgkirchen. “We are still completely in the dark. We don’t know who could have been.”
