The police announced sad news in Carinthia. A 48-year-old crashed 100 meters with his car. All help came too late for him.
The man from the Wolfsberg district was on Friday evening around midnight with his car in Lavamünd van Magdalensberg towards Südsteirische Grenzstraße (B69). “For an unknown reason he got off the road and fell over a steep slope,” the police said. The car was destroyed several times and then came to a halt on the southern Styrian Grenzstraße (B69), which was about 100 meters below.
The steering wheel died on the scene of the accident
“The 48-year-old was thrown out of the vehicle. He sustained life-threatening injuries and died on the scene of the accident,” says the executive power. The Lavamünd Volunteer Fire Brigade was in action with 16 men.
