Serious accident in the Vorarlberg community of Dafins: On Saturday morning a farmer crashed with his tractor, he fell from a steep slope, the tractor was falling and eventually burned out.
On Saturday at around 10 a.m. a farmer was able to work on mowing work in Dafin’s. He drove his mowing tractor on a meadow on a hill. Probably because of the wet grass – the day before it rained – the vehicle slid back and eventually a steep slope to the forest fell over a top.
Tractor in full fire
The tractor destroyed and crashed in a tree on the edge of the forest. The vehicle led to itself and shortly thereafter it was in full fire and the tree burned down.
The driver was seriously injured in the accident, First Aiders moved the man away from the scene of the accident. The operational teams later pulled the slope on the cable, then he was flown to the Feldkirch hospital with the Rescue helicopter C8. The fire brigades Zwischenwasser and Rankweil, the Red Cross and an emergency doctor were in use.
