Time and again, public transport operators and the police warn of the life-threatening stunts of the so-called S-Bahn surfers. Unfortunately, however, the warnings often remember – as in the case of two young people who were found dead on the roof of a train in Berlin, early Sunday morning in Berlin.
“The fire brigade was warned at 5:24 am and called for a mission to the Wannsee S-Bahn stop,” said a spokesman for the Brigade for the RTL broadcaster. The lifeless bodies were discovered on the roof of a fast road. In the case of one person, the emergency doctor immediately declared death. For the other person, the emergency services still tried to resuscitate – but unfortunately in vain.
The police have not yet announced details of the accident. During the rescue work there were failures and delays in train traffic. In a contribution from the Omroep RBB, railway spokesman Michael Klein insisted everyone: “Trains and pull roofs are not playgrounds. Unlike this nonsense!”
