A 64-year-old mountaineer from Annaberg in Salzburg Tennengau died in the field of Mount Everest last weekend. The entrepreneur had a fatal accident in the relegation of AMA Dablam.
After climbing the 6812 meter High Ama Dablam, the mountaineer in Tennengau fell into the depth of more than a thousand meters. Ama Dablam is considered a more difficult six thousand and is surrounded by Mount Everest (8848 m) and Lhotse (8516 m).
As the ORF reports, the Tennengauer traveled with a Nepalese forwarding company. A search was quickly successful. The body of the Annaberger was taken to the capital Kathmandu and was already released for the transfer.
The 64-year-old entrepreneur and passionate mountain athlete had been on large parts of the Alps.
