Almost three years after a series of burglaries, the handcuffs in Armenia clicked on a 49-year-old. Together with three accomplices, De Boef would have been broken into in 62 apartments in various federal states. He was the last of the four -person gang who was still fleeing.
Between October 2021 and July 2022, the Georgian (49) would have been involved in 62 burglaries in Upper Austria, Styria, Carinthia, Vorarlberg and Tyrol. Despite a European arrest warrant, the 49-year-old managed to enter for years. Now the man can be traced and arrested in Armenia. When he was questioned, he admitted 30 burglaries that he could no longer remember the others.
The three accomplices of the Georgian-Two countrymen (39 and 46) and a 26-year-old Ukrainian were captured and sentenced to a few years ago. Only the 49-year-old was still fleeing. So far – now he is in the Wels -Prison.
International cooperation leads to arrests
Three Peruvians have recently been done (23, 36 and 39). The gang was arrested by the State Criminal Police Office in collaboration with the Italian police. The trio confessed to five burglaries in Austria, mainly in the country OB der Enns. But the crooks can also have disaster in Italy, Switzerland and Germany. Now the gang is in the Wels -judge.
