Letter was lost – Stamp Collector Fights against the post office

Date:

Valuable brands were lost to Vienna at the post office. Because he supposedly used the wrong rate, the post does not want to compensate for the loss. Linz Senior (72) does not want to accept it so easily and does not give up – even pulls before the court if necessary.

It is a classic David-Agint-Goliath situation: Manfred H. (72) from Linz has been passionate about stamps since 1961. He has built up a considerable collection over the years. In July of the previous year, however, some of his valuable brands from 1945 were lost when he wanted to send them to Vienna by letter. After all, the brands must be worth 1200 euros. However, Swiss mail does not want to pay for the damage.
