A driver of an e-scooter from the Upper Austrian district of Perg was hit by a tram in Linz on Friday morning. Presumably because she was wearing headphones, the young woman had not heard the approaching Bim.
The 25-year-old crossed the country road in Linz on Friday at 6:00 am with an e-scooter towards Schillerstraße. The tram, which was heading towards the Bürgerstraße stop, attracted attention with an acoustic signal. However, the driver of the e-scooter did not respond, presumably because of headphones, causing the collision.
The scooter was pulled under the tram, the 25-year-old fell on the road next to the tram and was injured. Ambulances and ambulances treated the injured before she was taken to hospital.
