Nine fire brigades were deployed on Saturday in Nußdorf am Attersee (Upper Austria). A neighbor had discovered on time that the roof of a new house was burning. The owner brought wife and son to safety.
A patrol was founded for a fire in Nußdorf on Lake Attersee on Saturday at 2.50 p.m. Upon the arrival, the police officers took smoke at the first of the roof and the Parslale fire brigades and Nußdorf had already started the extinguishing work.
Neighbor had noticed cloud of smoke
During the surveys it was announced that the 78-year-old neighbor noticed a cloud of smoke and warned his neighbors. Immediately afterwards he put the emergency call and took his son and wife out of the house.
Electrical defect
The fire expert is currently assuming that the fire was probably caused by a defect with electrical engineering on the DC voltage side. However, the studies have not yet been completed. The Brandbrigades Nußdorf, Parschhallen, Parschau, Oberwang, Breathing Protection Vöcklamarkt, Au See, St. Lorenz, St. Georgen ia, Mondsee and Oberhofen were in action.
