For a migrant advice association in the best inner city situation, there are annual subsidies in the millions. But there are many open questions. The FPö has now placed the city rate on it.
Where 3.3 million euros in tax money flow can be expected. But there is especially one thing in the “Consulting Center for Migrants” association: Silence. Now the FPö attracts consequences – and the city rate is asking to go to the treasury.
What millions of euros for?
The prehistory: the city of Vienna had already released around a million euros in the Financial Committee, plus nearly 1.5 million from the Labor Market Service (AMS) and another 550,000 euros from the Ministry of Labor. In total: a lush financing package – for a club based in the most expensive inner city location in Vienna and strikingly reserved Public Relations work. On the Barren website of the association: little event, no personal information, no information.
“Krone” questions also remained unanswered
There were hardly any answers when the “crown” was asked. The association refers to “extremely favorable lease contracts since 1983” – the three offices in the first district have 244,000 euros a year. According to the financing application in 2025, even 2.45 million euros will be estimated for salaries. This means a rich increase of 30 percent compared to 2023 – with 16.49 full -time equivalents, a considerable personnel quota. Translations cost another 221,000 euros – although the 21 languages in -House Consultants cover according to report.
“Self -service shop?”
This raises questions, but the club gives no answers. “This clear destruction of tax money needs complete information from the city rate,” says the FPö boss Dominik Nepp van Vienna. His parliamentary group has now requested an official test procedure at the city rate. Among other things, it must be checked whether the expenditure of the association corresponds to the principles of economics, economy and opportunity. The question why the location is not transferred to cheaper districts is also in the room. Nepp: “It seems that a self -service store has settled here. It must be stopped.”
