The union has challenged Confebask to demand that it open the negotiating table to reach a collective agreement that includes rights for domestic workers.
The LAB union on Saturday demanded a sectoral agreement that includes the 28,000 women who, according to it, make up the group of domestic workers in the Basque Autonomous Community.
Performing in front of the palace of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, in Bilbao, a group of affiliated organizations carried several banners and posters under the slogan “They are playing with the rights of domestic workers”.
