The Vatican has published the new weapon of Pope Leo XIV. The American resident had already been “in Illo Uno Unum” as a bishop in Peru, translated “in the one who is one, we are one” and retains it.
According to Kathpress, the weapon that is published on X on X is strongly based on X from the Vatican State Secretariat on the weapon of the bishop of Robert Francis Prevost, now Pope Leo.
The words symbolize the pope that belongs to the order of Augustin. The motto has been taken from a remark from St. Augustine to Psalm 127 by Solomon.
The papal coat of arms is divided into two
On the left you can see the symbol of the white lily on a blue surface – a symbol of purity and innocence that is often associated with the Virgin Mary.
On the right you can see the holy heart of Jesus, which is above a closed book, piercing from an arrow.
The symbols of the papal dignity tower over the board, as with its predecessor Francis: the absentia between crossed gold and silver keys, held together by a red cord.
