P. may have left digital traces in the current murder case. So the officials were able to reconstruct the escape route: the suspect was driven to Munich with his rental car – a silver Skoda Octavia. He parked the escape car at the Ostbahnhof. From there he climbed on the train – he may have paid the ticket in cash.
Now the Hungarian is in a Dutch cell and is waiting for the transfer at the local authorities. This has already been requested by the public prosecutor of Salzburg. If P. does not agree voluntarily with a transfer, a corresponding procedure must be started: a Dutch court must approve the delivery. So it can take a few weeks before P. comes to Austrian detention.
