Linz Police officers made a surprising search success on Saturday in the Kleinmünchen district after they were called because of a barking dog. The officials discovered that the car in which the Bulldog was stolen had been stolen a month ago. Shortly thereafter, the owner of the dog, who was shown for theft.
Apparently there were animal lovers who became aware of the barking of a dog on Saturday morning in Traundorferstraße in Linz-Kleinmunchen and the police warned around 9:30 am because in bright sun and the early summer temperatures a French bulldog was only locked in a car.
When the officials arrived on the site, they saw that at least one window was slightly open on the Cordoba chair with LL license plates and the dog was fine.
Two different license plates
When the police checked the owner of the approval, they noticed that two different license plates were installed on the car. Her research showed that the chair was also stolen in Leonding on the night of 9 April.
To secure the barking dog, they asked the professional fire brigade for support. When this was already on site, the owner of the Bulldog suddenly came. He claimed not to have stolen the car.
The 27-year-old from Hörsching, however, made a visible number, also refused a quick drug test and a demonstration to the medical officer. He also had no driver’s license

The car was secured and given to the rightful owner, a 32-year-old from Leonding. This was apparently not off his car and had left the vehicle key inside.
The suspicious car thief was reported to the office of the public prosecutor in Linz. The Bulldog was brought by the Professional Fire Brigade to the Linz Animal Shelter for further care.
