More than 100,000 euros in cash and jewelry initially conquered unknown perpetrators on Saturday to Saturday with a break -in the Tyrolean Unterland: shortly later a car with three Romanians became the target of the police. The scene of the burglary was Kirchbichl in the Kufstein district: On Saturday morning, unknown perpetrators had gained access to a residential building. They caught a safe against the wall and conquered money and jewelry worth more than 100,000 euros. The house was completely destroyed.
Vehicle control on the burner
On Saturday afternoon, a car with a German license plate with a German license plate was subsequently taken out of the circulation by the foreign police in Gries am Brenner in the border area with Italy and more precisely investigated. There were three Romanians of 31, 32 and 33 on board. At the time, the officials had no idea that they had a “big fish” on the fishing bar.
“In the course of the vehicle check, the officers found a cash amount of six figure and various jewelry objects, some of which were stored in prepared bailiff in the car,” says lead researcher Katja Tersch of the State Criminal Police Office Tyrol.
Researchers have established a connection
The passengers had not given any information about the origin of the money and were therefore temporarily arrested. “Due to the money found and the jewelry objects, LKA Tyrol officials were able to finally establish the connection with the dice of housing in Kirchbichl,” the researcher continued.
Trio wraps itself in silence
After comparing the trace position at the crime scene in Kirchbichl, the suspicion of the three accused had confirmed. “The arrested people have not commented on this,” Tersch explains. They have now been taken to the Innsbruck judge by order of the public prosecutor.
