A traffic accident had a dramatic consequences for a 53-year-old pedestrian on Wednesday afternoon in the Vienna district of Sudender. After two cars had occurred, the two vehicles were thrown on the sidewalk. The passer -by was admitted by one of the cars.
The accident took place around 5 p.m. At the Sendnergasse/ Mannswörther Straße intersection. The 53-year-old had no chance to respond on time. One of the vehicles caught the man with full force.
The victim suffered such serious injuries that a rescue helicopter also had to be requested. After the medical emergency aid of the 53-year-old by the Viennese professional rescue company, the man was flown to the hospital by helicopter.
Also wounded car prisoners
The prisoners of the two cars were injured in the accident of different degrees. Two men – steering and front passenger – were treated by the emergency services in the first car and then taken to the hospital for further care. The woman in the second car was delivered on site and then released in home care.
Both vehicles were enormously damaged in the accident.
