Thiller bestseller author Bernhard Aichner about the special dramaturgia of the last Bundesliga round, the end of the novel of football crime and Toni Polster as inspiration.
What is generally a good thriller for you?
Just like with a good football match, all players must be top in the field, you have to cheer with them, keep your fingers crossed if you storm to the goal. The line -up must be good, the train to the gate, even with a miserable score, you still have to give everything and turn the skew in the best case. It is about tension and sensation, about the uncertainty, about everything is possible and you have no idea how the whole thing comes out in the beginning. When writing a novel, I have the easy advantage that I can play God at any time in return.
