A boy was in particular on Friday evening. He did not see the light of the world in the hospital, but also during the demolition of the A14 -fast road in the municipal area of Schlins.
The proud parents, a few from the Bludenz district, had separated around 10:50 am to the State Hospital Feldkirch. Shortly before, the work had used the contractions. However, it had nothing to do with a normal birth in the hospital, because even during the trip the mother noticed that the baby no longer wanted to wait.
Birth on passenger seat
The expectant father stopped the vehicle on the A14 failure and informed the rescue staff. Exactly at 11:09 PM – before the rescue workers arrived – the mother brought her son to the world in the car seat in the car.
The two police officers no longer had to take action as midwives after their arrival. They secured the vehicle and took care of the mother and child. Both were then taken by the rescue to the State Hospital Feldkirch. The newborn baby and the family are good.
