A truck driver had several Guardian Angels on the Lofer Federal Road in the Tyrolean Unterland on Monday. A car river was less lucky on the Brenner highway. It was trapped between two “Brummis” and was seriously injured.
The first accident took place at 12.30 pm. A Slovak (46) drove the truck on the Lofer Federal Road from Söll to Scheffau. “At the height of street kilometers 13.8 the steering wheel looked in the outside mirror and at the same time passed the edge of the road,” the police said. The 46-year-old still wanted to prevent control, but could no longer overthrow the vehicle.
The driver was lucky and was unharmed. The Scheffau Fire Brigade, the salvation, a rescue helicopter, various police strips, the road maintenance department and a towing service were deployed.
Car fought between truck
A local population (21) was less lucky on the Brander highway. Shortly before 1 p.m. a pole (45) stopped its truck train during the entrance of Zenzenhof because of problems with the brakes. The woman wanted to avoid the truck, but crashed with the truck of a Lithuanian (58). As a result, the car was caught between the two trucks. In the crash, the 21-year-old serious injury suffered. She had to be released by the Fire Brigade and was then admitted to the clinic in Innsbruck.
The salvation, the Professional Fire Brigade, the Fire Brigade Patsch, Asfinag and the police were in action.
