Shock for nearly 130 hotel guests on Tuesday evening in Seefeld in Tyrol: in the middle of the night they were torn out of sleep by the fire alarm. A fire broke out in the laundry room. There was enormous smoke development. All holidaymakers were evacuated.
Around 1:15 pm in the laundry room of the hotel in the Dorpsplein van Seefeld area, a fire broke out. The local fire brigade and their comrades of the neighboring Reith went down and could quickly control the situation and put the fire out.
First in the community, then to another hotel
“Due to the strong smoke development, a total of 129 hotel guests were evacuated by firefighters and police officers and housed in the nearby buildings of the municipality of Seefeld,” says the director. The holidaymakers were cared for there – also medical. They were then housed in another hotel. In the end, nobody was injured.
