There was a devastating explosion in a chemical factory in the Chinese province of Shandong. At least five people left their lives.
19 people were injured in the explosion in the city of Wescorang, 16 people are still missing. There was a “huge bang”, everything only took a short moment, “an eyewitness told CNN.
Hundreds of rescue workers in action
According to the authorities, more than 200 rescue workers were deployed. Videos circulate on social media to show the moment of detonation (see video above and images below).
