Three missions at the same time in the immediate vicinity
At the same time, the emergency services were needed at two other locations in the region: a rescue team with emergency paramedics was sent to a medical emergency in Kainach, while the emergency doctor was indispensable in the serious traffic accident. And in Stallhofen a Red Cruise Vehicle was needed as an outpatient clinic after a farm building in flames had risen shortly before 1 o’clock in the morning. 82 Firefighters from the district could prevent the flames from spreading to the house or the adjacent forest, the farm building became a theft of the flames.
Car burned to A2 completely burned out
Already on Friday there was a dangerous situation in the region on the highway in the south in the Steinberg area: a car caught fire, the fire brigade Ligist and Modriach were used with a large contingent.
The black column smoke from the burning car was visible from far, the emergency services went under respiratory protection and could quickly extinguish the fire. The adjacent dike was cooled to prevent the fire from spreading to vegetation. After an hour the assignment was over, of course there was only a skeleton left.
