Amomalarm was activated on Thursday at two schools in the German Ingelheim (Rijnland-Palatinate). The police are on site and want to clarify the situation as quickly as possible. Initially there were no evidence of injuries.
According to the “Bild” information, it is the BBS of the Vocational School and the Kaiserpfalz Realschule. The Südwestrundfunk (SWR) reported that the entire site would be checked. “The students and teachers are still in their classrooms,” the police said. The schools could not be introduced or abandoned at the moment.
The alarm started around 12 o’clock at the vocational school. There are currently no proof of the authenticity of the alarm or injured. The two schools are directly side by side.
Parents were not asked to pick up their children. Collection points were set up for the students. The police said that the alarm was activated two weeks ago during construction work on the building. This option is also considered.
Ingelheim am Rhein has around 36,000 inhabitants. The small town is approximately 15 kilometers west of the Rijnland-Palatinate Capital Mainz.
