Only one day after St. AeGyd in Lower Austria in the Neuwalde an attacker died by a police ball, a man was shot in Graz during a mission. He was taken to police officers by car.
Great commitment in the Egesberg district on Thursday evening: Because the man had ignored a ban on entering and rising, the police were called. The suspect wanted to flee and ran to the police with his car – these gave shots and hit the man.
The wounded person was “taken to the hospital, accompanied by the police”, as the executive power announced on X in the late evening. The operation was then terminated, but the investigation continues.
As the police emphasized, there was no danger to the population and further details did not want to be announced on request.
Research after death
In the meantime, after the dramatic police operation on Wednesday afternoon in St. Aegyd on Neuwalde, the investigation is in full swing. As reported, Alfred Sch. (49) started with two officials with a knife, the police shot and killed the man.
The man was known: he destroyed the access control, including ATM card terminals, a few days earlier with an ax to a local supplier. There are also indications that it should belong to the refusal scene of the state. The 49-year-old was registered in the neighboring district of Baden.
The use of firearms is being investigated internally. An autopsy was ordered.
