In the municipality of Bodrum in the Turkish Aegean region there was a violent explosion on a motor yacht in which three people were injured. A security camera recorded the incident in the port of the popular holiday resort (see video above).
The accident took place on Wednesday morning after refueling a twelve -meter -hunting yacht when it wanted to take off. Three people were injured in the explosion – two on board and an employee of the marina in Bodrum, report Turkish media.
The recordings (see video above) show the moment of the explosion. You can see how a man loosened the linen on board the motor yacht and then returned inside – probably to start the engine. Seconds later there was a huge explosion on the yacht.
If you see the photos of the explosion (see video above), it becomes clear that the wounded – one has sustained a broken leg, the other a bugde one shoulder – had a guardian angel. They were reported to the Bodrum Hospital and are all in a stable state.
Probably when the engine started, there was a sudden gas or fuel output that caused the explosion. The yacht was seriously affected and partially printed under water.
The affected area of the marina was closed off, the Turkish police have investigated the exact cause of the explosion.
