To see the great idol on stage-a dream taken by a fraudster by the 18-year-old Melissa and her sister Lilia (14).
When the big star is on stage in your own city, there is no longer stopping, especially for young fans. This was exactly how 18-year-old Viennese Melissa G. did it a few weeks ago. To make her sister Lilia, who was four years younger, she wanted to buy two tickets for the Billie-Beilish Concert on 6 June in the Wiener Stadthalle. After all, for 150 euros per card — a lot of money for an 18-year-old.
“I know that many fraudsters are on the road”
However, nothing was possible in the normal sale – the tickets for the appearance of the superstar were sold out. Other platforms also offered – and still on – tickets for excited prices of more than 500 euros per person. So Melissa went on the internet – with all the caution: “I know that many fraudsters are on the way,” she says the “Kroon”. She was previously warned by friends. In the end, the young woman, despite all the caution, still fell into the trap.
Man, musician, influencer and criminal
When she wrote a comment under the video of another desperate fans that she was looking for tickets, a musician or influencer from Germany contacted Melissa. Because he had both photos and videos of himself in his profile and showed 20,000 followers on Instagram and gave the tickets for the original price, because he himself had no time for the concert, Melissa struck.
300 euros are gone, tickets are still offered
She transferred the 300 euros to him, but she has never seen anything of tickets for the concert. On the contrary: the young alleged seller withdrew his news sent back to her, the money was transferred. What Melissa mainly annoys: “In the meantime, the tickets I have already paid are offered on the internet.”
Sad photo shoot for the Wiener Stadthalle
For the photo shoot with the “Krone” Melissa and Lilia returned to the Wiener Stadthalle after an advertisement from the police. The sisters have already said goodbye to the idea of admiring Billie Eilish in front of the stage on 6 June. And probably also from any fundamental trust in people who offer them something on the internet. Incidentally, the “Kroon” tried to reach the musician under his specified contact details. In vain …
