During a Stunshow near Stuttgart in Germany, a car rolled several times on Monday afternoon and then rolled into the crowd. Several people were injured, the police said.
The 21-year-old driver wanted to show a rollover by car during a car show in the parking lot of a hardware store in German Echten. However, the vehicle was destroyed several times. It hurled the barriers and rolled into the audience.
A safety vehicle that was on the site could no longer prevent the accident. The driver’s brother explained the newspaper “Bild”: “There is a security mechanism. A second vehicle that drives between the public area and the slope to intercept the stunt vehicle.” Due to a technical defect, however, the second vehicle did not drive in the planned position.

In the accident, five people were somewhat injured by the wounded grilles and the vehicle – three adults and two children. The driver of the car was not injured, the police said. The ambulance service provided the injuries on the site, some of them were brought to a clinic nearby. “Fortunately we only have to complain about scrapes and light cuts,” the “Bild” newspaper Michael Christner of the Reutlings Police -head Quarter quoted.
The traffic police now investigate how the accident could occur. “That should not have happened. My brother and we are all in shock. We want the affected to get better and collaborate with the police to clarify the circumstances of the accident,” said the brother of the 21-year-old driver.
