In Austria, 15,149 new corona infections have been reported in the past 24 hours (from 9.30 am on Wednesday). This is a high point since early April. Nine other people infected with the virus died.
In the normal wards of the hospitals, the occupancy rate increased by 18 places, the number of patients in intensive care by ten (66 patients in total).
