A video reveals the inaction of the police when Salvador Ramos, an 18-year-old boy, broke into Robb school in Uvalde, Texas on May 24. Armed with an assault rifle he recently bought, Ramos barricaded himself in a classroom of 19 minors and two teachers. He executed them in cold blood before being shot by the officers.

The footage, taken by the center’s security camera and brought to light by local media, shows the officers arriving just three minutes after the gunman. However, it takes 77 minutes to force the door and take down Ramos, who had already executed all of his victims. The officers did not enter earlier, despite the fact that up to four salvos were heard in the class.

“Go in and get them out, do something!” “They’re killing them!” “Shoot him once and for all!” These were the cries of “five or six” parents – told one of them, Juan Maldonado – who reached the site of the latest school massacre at Robb Primary School, as soon as the center’s Facebook page announced they had closed the property with a shoot.
