On Wednesday afternoon, a 76-year-old drove his motorcycle on the B70 in the direction of Völkermarkt and caught up with a 56-year-old car races. “In the field of Enzelsdorf, municipality, Völkermarkt district, in a section with a permitted top speed of 70 km/h and a catch-up ban, the 56-year-old steering wheel should suddenly be exhausted by his car,” the police described the start of the accident.
According to officials, the driver must suddenly be exhausted to the left. Due to the oncoming traffic, the car drivers then tear his vehicle to the right to the back of the motorcycle.
The power of the impact catapulted the 76-year-old through the air. He was thrown by his motorcycle and landed alone in the adjacent field. The car also came from the street, overthrowed and was badly damaged on the side of the road.
Both men were injured
The motorcyclist was taken to the UKH after first aid, the car driver flowed to the clinic. Total damage occurred on both vehicles. “An alkotest performed with the two steering wheel showed a slight alcoholisation at the 56-year-old car races. The driver’s license was temporarily reduced,” the officers concluded the accident report.
The voluntary fire brigades and Enzelsdorf moved to the scene of the accident with a total of five vehicles and 30 emergency services. The B70 had to be completely closed for the duration of the rescue and cleaning up.
Accident with small children
Only about two hours after the motorcycle accident, there was still a collision in the St. Veit district. A 28-year-old traveled with her three toddlers to St. Paul when she had to brake her vehicle because of oncoming traffic and stopped you.
A 33-year-old man who was behind her with his car and also drove in the same direction, apparently responded too late: despite braking, he was unable to get his vehicle on time and crashed into the vehicle of the 28-year-old.

At 10.30 a 48-year-old was on the B92 direction Klagenfurt. In a steep curve, the steering wheel came off the road for a previously unknown cause and landed in a field.
