Even two days after the fire broke out in a paper mill in seeds in the Nununkirchen district (LOWER Austria), the fire brigades are still required enormously. There are still 140 comrades in the area, an end to use is not yet in sight. However, the cause of the fire will probably be clarified.
There was no question of a quiet holiday for the firefighters in the Neunkirchen district. On Thursday, a large contingent in the field of a paper mill was also used in seeds. This is extremely demanding, 16 comrades have so far been small injuries.
Difficult dedication
Up to 140 members are still on Friday to extinguish the usually pressed paper bales. They must be torn apart with the help of wheel loaders and Staners.
Technical defect
According to the operator, the cause should now be clear: a technical defect in a forklift truck is said to be set on fire. After that the wind could have been fought against the fire and could be transferred to the paper. The police investigations are still in full swing.
“Operation still secured”
“We thank the fire brigade, it is even worse. The fire was limited locally, technical systems remained undamaged and the operation is still protected,” the company involved is grateful for the self -security fight against the flames. This is expected to continue until Sunday. Until then, the planning of the fire brigade runs at least once. An immediate end of the mission is at least not foreseen, it is said.
