Escalation in the Middle East: American forces have bombed the Iranian nuclear facilities, Iran threatens to take revenge and the Iranian Foreign Minister is flying to Putin crisis. Europe is looking forward to the south. But how much does that influence us here in Austria? Do you threaten new waves of refugees that bring our ash system to the limit? What happens when Iran blocks the hormus of Hormus? Do we have to expect the increasing prices for oil and energy – or even bottlenecks? Will the terrorist risk in the country become more realistic when conflicts work from outside? And what about our neutrality: can a country in the heart of Europe still stay outside in a globalized world – or is the political pressure from outside stronger?
