Researchers have discovered an illegal cigarette factory in an unobtrusive warehouse in the industrial area of the city of Piacenza.
As the financial police of Guardia di Finanza said, the drug researchers have provided 14 tons of fake cigarettes and ten tons of raw tobacco about 70 kilometers south of Milan.
The researchers found an assembly line, packaging materials and production facilities, with which it was probably produced over a large area for the black market.
The goods were disguised with the deceptively real -looking logo of a large cigarette producer, but was manufactured without permission or tax space. One person was arrested, another for smuggling and brand falsification.

The investigation led to a cross -border -raid: in collaboration with the Romanian police, another 25 tons of fake cigarettes were seized. In addition, firearms were found and the information based on members of an international criminal organization.
