Tragic accident on Wednesday in Dechantskirchen in the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district: a 72-year-old Styrian fell several meters deep of a ladder when he worked in his own garden. All help came too late for him, he was immediately dead.
The 72-year-old Oststeirer was only working with gardening on the ownership of his house. “The retired cherry tree climbed to do work with the help of a bucket and a saw,” the styric police report. After the man did not come to an agreed meeting with his wife, a family member sought him and found the 72-year-old lifeless on the meadow.

Immediate first auxiliary measures by an alarmed neighbor could no longer help the pensioner. He already had a safe sign of death. An external negligence could not be determined in the course of the investigation. The family members are provided by the crisis intervention team.
