A truck damaged a gas station on Friday morning. The moment the emergency services arrived, there was a violent explosion – 21 people were injured, including passers -by – by a firefighter, eight police officers and a member of the emergency services.
Five injuries were confirmed to the hospital, but they do not drive in a mortal danger. When the fire brigade arrived, there was explosion, which also recorded the already present paramedics, as local media reported.
Damage to different buildings
The explosion, which tore out many residents of the area, caused damage to various surrounding buildings and was heard in large parts of the city. In addition, the flames reached a down payment for confiscated vehicles behind the gas station. Passers -by -perpetrators were also injured.
A black cloud of smoke was seen above the southern part of the city. The extinguishing work stopped. Two buildings near the gas station had to be evacuated. The metro station of the C Teano line, which is located near the gas station, was closed as a precaution.
