Happy end of a public search for a missing person in Germany: the police were able to find the woman who has left since Saturday locked up in a wooden box.
A few days after the disappearance of the young woman, the researchers found what they were looking for in the village of Vogelsberg in Thuringia. Vogelsberg is approximately 80 kilometers west of Leipzig.
Loud calls for help from wooden box
When they checked a home, the officers heard from a barn. They were finally able to free the 19-year-old from a wooden box.
Two suspects in custody
It is now being investigated against a 43-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman. Both are now in custody, the public prosecutor accuses the hostage duo.
No details were given on the concrete background of the incident. The only thing that is certain is that the woman is dependent on medication and that she is currently in a hospital.
