After a violent act at the end of March in Kufstein, Tyrol, the victim (51) has since died in hospital. The woman is said to have been strangled unconscious by a 29-year-old woman. Now there are investigations on suspicion of murder!
It was shortly after 3 p.m. on March 25 when a violent, initially verbal altercation broke out between the two Austrians at an apartment in Kufstein. “When the older woman insulted the younger woman, the situation escalated and the younger woman then choked the 51-year-old until she passed out,” police said at the time.
The victim had to be resuscitated by the arriving rescuers. It was then taken to the Kufstein district hospital. The woman died there on Saturday, police said.
Investigation into suspected murder
The murder investigation is now underway. The victim has already undergone an autopsy. It was determined that the woman died as a result of the violenceit says on the part of the Innsbruck public prosecutor’s office Crown-Ask.
The 29-year-old alleged perpetrator is in prison in Innsbruck. Further investigations are underway.
