Plane destroyed – after airport burglary: arrest in South Tyrol

The case surrounding the curious burglary at the airport in Langkampfen (Kufstein district) in Tyrol remains mysterious: the man who damaged two small planes and stole a car on Wednesday is said to have been arrested and arrested in South Tyrol.

According to information from “Krone” it should be a 23-year-old German. He would have been picked up on Thursday in Sterzing in South Tyrol. The Tyrolean police have not confirmed this – so as not to jeopardize the ongoing investigation, it said. Why they are so inconspicuous in this case could not and would not explain.

Two planes wrecked
On Wednesday morning, a hangar at the airport was broken into. The initially unknown assailant damaged two small aircraft while attempting to commission them and then fled to Vomp in a security vehicle parked without a license plate at the airport.
