The walls in Vienna-Liesing continue to shake due to a mega construction site. The neighbors are desperate.
One more day and then the earthquake will be over – that’s what the construction managers had promised neighbor Gerhard F.! But just two weeks ago, the “Krone” site inspection was over (we witnessed the great chatter with our eyes and ears) when the compaction hammers were started again at the “Vienna City Park” construction site. “It seems to me that it now vibrates even harder in Schlossgasse,” says the troubled father.
Particularly tragic: in the basement, his demented father is so exposed to the tremors that last all day that the old gentleman ponders gloomy thoughts.
Police advise to file a report
His 60-year-old son is not the only one suffering. Because there is also the retired Peter B. from the Kugelmann settlement. Both run into concrete walls with their protests. The site manager seems helpless. The only succinct advice to the “earthquake victims” that begs him: “Get a lawyer or report it.”
So there is no end in sight to the earth-shattering “terror”…
