Scary moments for three cyclists in the Tyrolean Langkampfen: On Saturday afternoon, the trio met a bear – coincidentally on the forest trail called “Bärenbad”.
An encounter that three cyclists would rather not have: During a sporty tour in the late afternoon in Langkampfen in the Kufstein district, they suddenly saw a bear – on the forest path “Bärenbad”, Höhlenstein Steig junction. Fortunately no one was injured.

The cyclists reported their terrifying sighting to the authorities in an exemplary manner. In general, the population is asked to complete the visual observation form if large predators such as bears, lynx or wolves are observed and send it to the respective district authority or to monitoring.beutegreifer@tirol.gv.at.
