Police and fire brigade were alerted around 9.30 pm on Saturday because witnesses discovered the open fire at the Krapfenwaldbad in Grinzing. The Florianis quickly put an end to the flames. When the police arrived and the fire brigade showed them the location of the fire, the emergency services were amazed – as the fire had rekindled and was blazing happily.
Suspect goes crazy
The police officers then confronted the 35-year-old wild camper and informed him about his illegal activities and the dangers involved. But no trace of insight. On the contrary: he would not be forbidden to start a fire outside, said the man, who, according to the police, also started to behave increasingly aggressively and cursed the officers.

Because the man did not want to stop his criminal behavior at all, he has been arrested for the time being. However, he resisted wildly and, to make matters worse, injured an officer.
The 35-year-old filed a complaint on suspicion of resistance against state authority, grievous bodily harm and various administrative provisions.
